Street Vitality
The Challenge:
To identify spatial vitality factors for street-level retail and develop a “Product Prototype Manual” to guide urban regeneration and tenant recruitment.
The Approach & Outcome:
The study combined qualitative interviews to build consumer profiles with quantitative cluster analysis across 20+ commercial streets. By evaluating tenant mix, pedestrian flow, and accessibility, the research introduced the “Traffic Pull” concept. This provided a data-driven framework for customizing marketing strategies and optimizing retail compositions.
